We've partnered with the band that brought metal kicking and screaming to the global stage. Our limited-edition 1461 shoe is a testament to the enduring impact Metallica's music has on their legions of fans. Cut from durable Backhand leather and emblazoned with artwork from Metallica's legendary 1986 Damage Inc. tour, created by the artist Pushead. Each pair is equipped with a Metallica ¡®M' heel stud, special edition dog tags, and a secondary set of laces printed with ¡®Boredom comes from a boring mind'. The 3-eye shoe is set on our BEN sole and finished with a yellow welt stitch. This is for everyone who can answer ¡°How does it feel to be alive?¡±

Material

Backhand is full-grain leather that's durable and soft to the touch. Backhand Strawgrain is a full-grain leather that's durable and soft to the touch with a textured finish designed to imitate an art canvas.

Inner:
60% Leather / 20% Textile / 20% Other (PU)

Sole:
100% PVC

Care Instructions

Wipe away dirt using a damp cloth and allow to dry. Then apply Dr.Martens Neutral wax polish as appropriate, using a Dr.Martens shoe brush and allow to dry. Then buff vigorously to desired shine using a second clean Dr.Martens shoe brush. (For best results we advise to use 2 brushes per colour, one to add the polish and the second, clean, dry brush, to buff up the leather).

Construction

Goodyear Welted - the upper and sole are heat-sealed and sewn together, providing more comfort and durability for years to come.
