Classic and versatile, the shoe is built from Smooth leather, which looks great polished to a shine or scuffed and well-worn. Our bouncing sole is secured with distinctive yellow welt stitching, and the wide, rounded toe ensures all-day comfort - whatever you're up to.
Material
Smooth leather is as classic as it gets: with us from the beginning, it is famously tough and can be buffed up to a high shine or artfully scuffed up.

Care Instructions
Wipe away dirt using a damp cloth. Apply a neutral or correct colored wax based shoe polish. Buff with a Dr. Martens Shoe Brush to restore shine as desired.
Construction
This is a Goodyear-welted product. The upper and sole are heat-sealed and sewn together, not merely glued like many footwear constructions.
