Comfort at new heights. The 8053 shoe is a 5-eye silhouette with a padded collar - a little extra cushioning to make short work of a long day. This platform version of the shoe stands on our chunky Quad sole to elevate every outfit without compromising comfort. Our instantly recognisable yellow welt stitching and grooved edges finish the sole. The shoe is made with Polished Smooth leather, which shapes itself to your feet with every wear and looks great scuffed or buffed to a shine.

Material

Polished Smooth is the original Dr. Martens leather: super durable and polished to a high shine.

Care Instructions

Wipe away dirt using a damp cloth. Apply a neutral or correct colored wax based shoe polish. Buff with a Dr. Martens Shoe Brush to restore shine as desired.

Construction

This is a Goodyear-welted product. The upper and sole are heat-sealed and sewn together, not merely glued like many footwear constructions.
